Signed in Dubai on 10 October 2025, the agreement provides for the development and operation of a multimodal logistics terminal in the Yangi Avlod Free Economic Zone in the Yangihayot district of Tashkent.
Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP acted as lead counsel, advising on English law aspects of the transaction.
The planned terminal will feature a rail hub, A-class warehousing, customs and logistics facilities and direct access to key transport infrastructure including to the national railway network, major highways and Tashkent International Airport.
Once implemented, the project is expected to strengthen Uzbekistan’s position as a leading logistics hub in Central Asia, improving regional connectivity and trade flows.
